Nelson Alfonso is the blender behind Selected Tobacco's luxury portfolio, rolled at Tabacos de Costa Rica. That catalog includes Atabey and Byron: long-aged, allocated cigars with Cuban-culture homage rather than Estelí volume branding.
He helped make Costa Rica a serious luxury origin instead of a footnote. Selected Tobacco is not STG. Alfonso is the blender. The factory is Tabacos de Costa Rica. Zaya Younan's El Septimo is a different Costa Rican luxury story, not this company.
