My Father

My Father Cigars is the García family company. Pepín García is the patriarch. His son Jaime García blended the namesake My Father cigar in 2008 as a tribute, and the Estelí factory that opened in 2009 took that name. Flagship lines include My Father, The Judge (Cigar of the Year 2024), Le Bijou 1922 (Cigar of the Year 2015), Flor de las Antillas (Cigar of the Year 2012), and La Opulencia. The style is full Nicaraguan flavor with Cuban-inspired construction.

The factory also rolls for other brands: Tatuaje, L'Atelier, Crowned Heads, and Ashton Nicaraguan marques (La Aroma de Cuba, San Cristóbal). That dual identity (own marca plus contract floor) places My Father next to A.J. Fernandez and Plasencia as infrastructure, not only a consumer brand. Family-owned. Not STG.
