Oettinger Davidoff

Oettinger Davidoff AG is the Swiss luxury group headquartered in Basel that owns Davidoff, AVO, The Griffin's, Zino, Camacho, and related premium brands. The Oettinger family's retail roots reach back to 19th-century Basel cigar trading; the modern company is the corporate home of the Davidoff marque after the post-Cuban rebuilding era and the global luxury distribution machine behind duty-free and specialty retail. Exact quality systems, aging standards, and brand hierarchy (Davidoff at the top, Zino and Camacho covering broader price and strength bands, AVO and Griffin's filling elegant Dominican niches) are the group's commercial design.

Manufacturing is multi-country. Dominican production concentrates at Tabadom in Villa González for much of Davidoff, AVO, and Griffin's output, a factory lineage tied to Henke Kelner's Tabacos Dominicanos story before full group control. Camacho and certain Zino lines lean Honduran and Nicaraguan leaf and factories, so the map must not collapse every Oettinger cigar into one address. The group is a parallel luxury pole to STG and Altadis: Swiss prestige branding rather than Danish volume heritage names or Imperial's Montecristo/RyJ U.S. franchises.
