Lampert Cigars was founded in 2017 by Dr. Stefan Lampert, a Liechtenstein-born attorney who approached cigars with bespoke, small-batch seriousness. Costa Rican production, including the Oro line (with roots in earlier My Cigar Lab work) and Ocean Breeze, rolls at Tabacos de Costa Rica, the same factory that hosts Selected Tobacco's Atabey and Byron at the ultra-luxury end and other boutiques under one roof.
Lampert is not only Costa Rica. The brand also produces internationally (including Nicaraguan projects with the Ortez family and Dominican work on certain lines), so the map's Costa Rica edge captures the Oro/Ocean Breeze thread that helped put the factory on enthusiast radars for creamy, approachable premium rather than only five-figure allocations. Packaging and branding lean modern European luxury more than Estelí street-boutique energy.
