Fred Vandermarliere

Fred Vandermarliere is the Belgian owner of Oliva Cigar Co. He leads the Vandermarliere family company behind J. Cortès Cigars, a European machine-made house that bought Oliva in 2016 to add a handmade Nicaraguan catalog. Serie V, Serie V Melanio (2014 Cigar of the Year), NUB, and Cain still roll at Tabolisa in Estelí.

Who owns Oliva? Vandermarliere, not the Oliva family as majority owners, and not STG. The leaf and factory remain Nicaraguan. Fred is the European parent node. The cigars are still Estelí.
